An Organ Transplant Surgeon at Troy High Club Med!
Hello everyone, and welcome to this month's blog post! Spring is almost here, and I'm definitely looking forward to it after 3 months of straight snow. Anyway, let's get into it.
Dr. Rudich at Troy High!
For some background, Club Med is a organization for students at Troy High who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. I'm an officer of Club Med, and my job is to coordinate doctor lectures. Earlier this month, I organized a lecture with one of Gift of Life Michigan's organ transplant surgeons, Dr. Steven Rudich!
It was an absolutely fascinating insight into the process of becoming a surgeon, what it takes to get there, his daily activities, and the many amazing experiences he's had! It was an amazing experience overall.
