The 2020 Virtual LIFEWalk and Receiving Materials from the NJ Sharing Network
Hey everyone, I hope you're all staying safe and healthy. This month's blog post is usually dedicated to the GOLM LIFEWalk, but the difference with this year's is that it's entirely virtual! Anyway, let's get right into it.
2020 Virtual LIFEWalk
This year, my family and I participated in the virtual LifeWalk, which was definitely a different experience, although it was still great to be supporting organ donation advocacy from home. We participated as part of Team Gift8Lives, so we were able to track our progress through that. I'm looking forward to hopefully an in-perosn LIFEWalk next year!
Becoming a Volunteer with the NJ Sharing Network!
After participating in an online webinar for those interested in volunteering with one of New Jersey's two OPOs, I received some promotional materials and a great letter for them. Although I'll be attending TCNJ virtually from home this fall, when I eventually get on-campus, I'll be sure to continue my organ donation advocacy there.
