National Secretary of State Appreciation Month, and other news!
Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well and staying healthy! 2020 has definitely been a difficult year for most, but we're getting close to the holidays, which is a nice thing to look forward to. I've been in college (remotely) for about two months now, and it's been going pretty smoothly so far. However, finals are coming up in December so I definitely can't take things too lightly yet! Anyway, let's get right into this month's blog post.
National Secretary of State Appreciation Month
This month was National Secretary of State Appreciation Month, which is truly important to the organ donor cause–without the clerks at the Secretary of State, many new organ donors would not be signed up! I reached out to my local Secretary of State branch office and shared with them how grateful I am that they continue to advocate for organ donation each and every day. I encourage all of you to do the same!
Drones and Organ Transplantation
Recently, USA Today did a really interesting story on a drone that carried a human kidney over the Las Vegas desert! It's great to see how new technology can be used for saving lives. Here's the link below!
That's it for this month! Thank you all for reading, and I'll see you at the next post.
